This Privacy Notice to U.S. Users (“Privacy Notice”) supplements the other parts of our Privacy Policy and provides additional information for residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. This Privacy Notice contains information U.S. state data privacy laws and is a supplement to The Lantern Hotel Columbia’s Privacy Policy.
General Terms
Submitting Requests. You can exercise your rights by using the forms or links provided in this Privacy Notice, through our Privacy Policy, or emailing us at info@lanterncolumbia.com. We will respond to your requests within 45 days, unless additional time is needed, in which case we will let you know.
When you submit your request, we will take steps to attempt to verify your identity. We will attempt to match the information in your request to the Personal Data we maintain about you. As part of our identity verification process, we may ask you to submit additional information or to sign into your account.
Non-Discrimination. If you choose to exercise any of the privacy rights described below, you will not be subjected to discriminatory treatment by us.
Personal Data Collection and Use. We collect Personal Data from you which you volunteer when you provide it to us, or via our Services with which you interact. We also may be given other Personal Data relating to you by other persons. Depending on how you interact with us or what type of Services you are using, we will process your Personal Data for the purposes set forth in our Privacy Policy and as further detailed in the table below.

Sale of your Personal Data. We do not sell your Personal Data. Accordingly, we do not offer an opt-out to the sale of Personal Data.
Sharing your personal data. We will only pass your Personal Data to fulfil your requirements, provide and improve our Services, or where we are required to do so by law. We also use Service Providers to better meet your needs and provide an efficient and effective service in our hotel and online. We also share your data for personalized advertising purposes. De-Identified Data. We may collect, process, and disclose aggregated or de-identified consumer information for any purpose, without restriction. When we collect, process, or disclose aggregated or de-identified consumer information, we will maintain and use it in de-identified form and will not attempt to reidentify the information, except to determine whether our de-identification processes satisfy any applicable legal requirements.

CALIFORNIA CONSUMER RIGHTS
The California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) provides California residents the right to submit certain requests relating to their Personal Data as described below.
Right to Know. You have the right to know what Personal Data we have collected about you, which includes:
(1) The categories of Personal Data we have collected about you, including:

- Our business or commercial purposes for collecting, selling, sharing, and disclosing Personal Data,
- The categories of recipients to which we disclose Personal Data,
- The categories of Personal Data that we shared, and for each category identified, and
- The categories of Personal Data that we disclosed for a business purpose, and for each category identified, the categories of recipients to which we disclosed that particular category of Personal Data.

Right to Opt Out Sharing of Personal Data. You have the right to opt out of the use of your Personal Data for targeted advertising. To opt out of targeted advertising via cookies, please reference our Cookies Policy or use the “Consent Preferences” tool provided on our Website. If you would like to use a universal opt-out preference signal, please download and use a browser supporting the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If you choose to use the GPC signal, you will need to turn it on for each supported browser or browser extension you use.
Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Data. We do not process sensitive Personal Data for purposes to which the right to limit use and disclosure of sensitive Personal Data applies. Accordingly, we do not provide such a right.
Appeals. If you would like to submit an appeal regarding our response to a request, you may appeal by contacting us at info@lanterncolumbia.com.
Authorized Agents. The CCPA allows California consumers to designate an authorized agent to exercise their rights under CCPA. If you use an authorized agent to submit a request, we will ask your agent to provide information to demonstrate the agent has your authorized consent to submit a request. Proof of authorization evidenced by your signed permission should be submitted to info@lanterncolumbia.com. We may also ask you to provide information to verify your identity directly with us.
If you are a California employee or job applicant, or if you interact with us in a commercial context, please contact us at info@lanterncolumbia.com to submit a request.
Disclosure of Privacy Rights Requests. The CCPA requires businesses to disclose the number of requests received, complied with in whole or in part, or denied. We currently have not received any requests from Californian residents.
Shine the Light. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83), California residents who provide us with certain Personal Data are entitled to request and obtain from us, free of charge, information about the Personal Data (if any) we have shared with third parties for their own direct marketing use. Such requests may be made once per calendar year for information about any relevant third party sharing in the prior calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to info@lanterncolumbia.com. In your request, please attest to the fact that you are a California resident and provide a current California address.
